McGillin's Olde Ale House Restaurant Review:

McGillin's, the oldest operating tavern in Philadelphia, opened the year Lincoln was elected president. This local haunt has a large selection of regional beers and house specialties. The menu is a bargain, from the half-pound burgers to shepherd’s pie to the Cape May seafood stew over pasta. Dishes such as a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, crab cakes, and a New York strip steak round out the menu. It's a friendly watering hole if there ever was one. Be sure to quaff a pint (or two) of McGillin’s 1860 IPA, its own brew bottled to mark the opening of the tavern.
