The restaurant offers no frills when it comes to décor, but makes up for it with its food and surprisingly affordable prices. A basket filled with a sampling of freshly made flatbreads---try the garlic naan, onion kulcha and paratha---are perfect for dipping in the spicy sauces and chutneys at the table. The standout entrée, lamb madras, is richly spiced and cooked until meltingly tender. From India's coast, the restaurant serves a Goan fish curry. And don't miss the meat and seafood dishes marinated and grilled in an authentic tandoor oven. Most meals come with a variety of sides, providing a sensation of spices and flavors. Order some pappadum for scooping. And for the timid palate, many of the dishes come in mild versions of their spicy counterparts.
