Olde Port Inn Restaurant Review:
Perched on a working fishing pier and surrounded by the harbor, jetty and rugged coastline, Olde Port Inn is easily one of the most scenic spots around. The signature dishes at this casual eatery include the bacon-wrapped prawns, grilled salmon with wasabi sauce, and the “no work” cioppino, but don’t be afraid to order ubiquitous dishes either. The hearty clam chowder is brothy, not pasty, and the breaded fish ‘n’ chips are light and crispy. Desserts are basic, but the warm peach cobbler can hit the spot on a chilly day. There’s also beer on tap, and a better wine list than you’d expect from such a place. Note that parking on the pier is extremely limited, so plan on walking out and back. And though lunch is served daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, it’s only available on weekends the rest of the year.
