Oliver's Twist Restaurant Review:

As might be anticipated given its name, the restaurant and the cocktails served here are Dickensian themed, but there's nothing poor about the small plates coming out of the kitchen. Overall, this neighborhood bistro and lounge is a cozy place to rendezvous with friends and nosh on sophisticated snacks such as truffled popcorn. Chef/owner Dan Braun has created a concise, inspiring menu: fingerling potatoes roasted in duck fat, and salami mole with pickled fennel, for example. A full bar complements a thoughtful wine list. Be sure to save room for luscious desserts such as the grilled chocolate-marshmallow brioche sandwich and raspberry sorbet with huckleberries and mint.
