An historical Charleston structure is the setting for seafood-centric restaurant The Ordinary. Though the menu changes daily, one might encounter heirloom pumpkin soup with crab and brown butter; amberjack schnitzel; and triggerfish en papillote with sauce mousseline. Oyster bar morsels and shellfish towers are available, too. The wine selection was curated to complement seafood, and there’s a brief line-up of cocktails.
