The Palm Restaurant Review:

As with other links in the chain, The Palm features caricatures on the walls of celebrities and local notables, an amicable setting for the upscale dishes. Because this branch is situated in the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, the dress code is a bit more relaxed than at other outposts. Prices keep this a splurge or expense-account go-to, as much for the tender cuts of beef and lamb rib chops as the lobster options. Fried calamari, clams casino and seared ahi are available, but appetizers can seem superfluous given the size of the steaks and their luxe accompaniments, like green beans with pancetta and chili flake and the fabled hash brown potatoes. The Palm has a handful of seafood creations, such as broiled crab cakes (with chipotle tartare sauce), as well as heaping plates of classic Italian dishes, from veal piccata to linguine with red or white clam sauce. If you’re not in the mood to commit to a full meal, take advantage of PrimeTime at The Palm Bar, available Sunday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
