Paulie's Restaurant Review:

Walking down the street and glancing in the large windows you might mistake Paulie’s for a simple café. But locals know that it produces quality house-made pastas and daily specials, like Thursday’s fall-off-the-bone osso buco. Yes, there are some very good sandwiches and pizzas if you need a quick and filling lunch, but we like to come here for the dinner entrées: plates of roasted salmon, a crispy chicken piccata, garlicky shrimp scampi, and even a rib-eye served with pesto gnocchi and grilled tomatoes. Paulie’s serves beer, wine and coffee drinks and any meal should end with dessert, or at least dessert to-go. It’s hard to resist the bread pudding or the mini Key lime tarts, but the shortbread cookies are a must. Have one on the spot and take some home for later, too.
