Peohe's Restaurant Review:

Peohe'sFloor-to-ceiling windows and tiered seating allow for panoramic views of San Diego, the bridge and a sailboat-dotted bay. Getting to Peohe's can be half the fun, whether you sail or motor up to the public dock, take the water ferry or drive over the Coronado Bridge.

Food: The menu showcases influences from French Polynesian, the Caribbean, Hawaii and Japan, specifically via the sushi bar. Enjoy a fruity sipper like a blueberry or pomegranate mojito, which pair well with the tempura coconut shrimp. Yellowfin tuna and pickled ginger nestle in light spring rolls while a marriage of lump crab, avocado and mango is a tasty union. We also recommend the signature halibut Mai’a where macadamias, bananas and Frangelico enhance the fresh, flaky white fish, island-style. Meat lovers will be happy with Peohe's prime rib, a thick, generous slab served with garlic spuds. Just when you think you cannot eat another bite, the hot chocolate lava cake beckons.
