Ponzio's Restaurant Review:

First it was a diner with a retail bakery. Then Ponzio's sprouted a few more rooms and a cocktail lounge, and became one of South Jersey’s favorite family dining destinations. From business breakfasts through ladies lunching and late-night travelers --- the traffic never stops. The waitresses know everyone, and bring big baskets of assorted breads before you can ask. This down-home abundance --- Italian specials, chicken croquettes, fried eggplant and lots of fish dishes --- is why many cross the river from Philly to the shore of New Jersey. There's even a nod to farm-to-table on the menu, which touts produce from nearby Springdale Farms. No one leaves without taking home some of the fetchingly displayed cakes and cookies.
