Quartino Restaurant Review:

This popular River North haunt offers Italian small plates of cheese and salumi, Neapolitan pizze and house-made pastas. Veal meatball sliders, pancetta-wrapped dates and polenta fries are good snacks. Those with a healthier appetite will want to try the Campania (fonduta, house-made ricotta, cherry tomatoes and basil) or d’Anitra (duck prosciutto, onion and wild arugula) pizzas or one of the aforementioned pastas, like the braised pork-filled ravioli or the potato gnocchi with pork stock. Desserts range from gelati to a Nutella panino. There are quarter, half and full liters of wine, too. A wide array of gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available. The kitchen stays open late (one of the few options in the area).
