THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ri Ra Irish Pub Restaurant Review:

Stitching together bits and pieces of antique Irish pubs, this Auld Sod replica showcases a handsome 19th-century bar and parquet flooring from the Harland & Wolff yard where Titanic was built. Authenticity defines some of the dishes, such as a first-rate potato and leek soup. The quite tasty McDonnells chicken curry, an Irish pub classic, can come on either french fries (here known as “chips”) or rice, or both. The soda bread accompanying it is made fresh daily following a recipe from a small coffee shop in Limerick owned by the wife of manager Dermot Lloyd’s best friend. A whopping Irish breakfast is served all day, complete with black and white puddings, pan-roasted mushrooms and grilled tomato. For those who simply will not exit the box, there are burgers and wings. Corned beef and cabbage served with mashed spuds and parsley sauce appears only on Saturdays and Sundays at dinner. The Guinness brownie is among the dessert offerings, most of which seem American. Substantial brunch is served until 4 p.m. While there are a few wines, beers and ciders rule. Get a Guinness sampler to get in the mood. This is a great spot to watch “footie” (aka soccer). Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. featuring special drink offers.
