Russo's NY Coal-Fired Pizza is part of the Texas franchise built by Anthony Russo, a first-generation Italian American who brought New York-style pizza to Clear Lake in the early '90s. Quality ingredients, good family recipes and careful preparation distinguish Russo's. Choose from classic toppings such as Roma tomatoes, fresh basil and plenty of mozzarella, or go for one of Russo's specialty creations such as the chicken rustica. Russo’s understands the art of the authentic coal-fired crust, and theirs has just the right amount of crispness to hold up the toppings. If you prefer a pasta, try the gemelli carbonara prosciutto di Parma, with red onions and garlic in Romano cream sauce. There are also plenty of heart-healthy selections, including the Harlem beet salad and heart-healthy pizza with spinach and artichokes.
