Rustler's Rooste Restaurant Review:

Since 1971, guests have been slipping down the two-story entry slide from the lounge to the dining room (a staircase is available, too). The kitsch continues at the table in the tourist-heavy spot, with good ol’ cowboy stuff served in heaping portions (a popular “dare to eat it all” dinner, for example, brings a salad, crispy shrimp, barbecued chicken, cowboy beans, seafood kebabs, french fries, seasonal fruit, barbecued pork ribs, corn on the cob, aged Angus beef steak kebabs, rolls, and fresh raw vegetables with Ranch dip). There’s no monkeying around with the cooking though, with standouts like Southern fried chicken, prime rib and St. Louis style barbecue pork ribs. This loud, busy spot with an expansive patio is a great place to bring the kids as well, offering a tykes menu ranging from a small steak to spaghetti, grilled cheese or a hot dog.
