Saigon Le Restaurant Review:

This authentic Vietnamese restaurant is dressed up a little with hanging lanterns and maps of Asia under glass on dining tables. But the tiled floors and drop ceiling give the place an overall casual strip shopping center vibe, even though it's located in a standalone building in Midtown. Saigon Le is perhaps best known for its bird’s nest egg rolls (a shrimp and pork egg roll served with vegetables and fish sauce). Soups feature all the traditional offerings, including several varieties of beef pho. There are plenty of meat-heavy dishes, such as sliced beef tenderloin with lemon grass and vermicelli. Vegetarians enjoy the vast list of meat-free options; lemon grass tofu would impress even the most confirmed meat-eater, and the barbecue wheat gluten is hearty, savory and sweet. Dessert is not an option; however, if they have fresh fruit they’ll offer it as a special. No wine is served, but there’s a decent selection of Asian beers, such as Japan’s Sapporo and Vietnam’s 333. If you want to bring a bottle of wine, Saigon Le does not charge a corkage fee.
