Sala Restaurant Review:

With shutters, distressed brick walls, rude wooden floors and an open kitchen, it's clear that a movie set designer created Sala to echo a simple, lived-in restaurant in Madrid---and the hacienda ambience succeeds admirably. Up front is a long wooden bar that has become the meeting ground for attractive young things who don't mind being jostled by the throngs while sipping their sangrías. Sala does good Segovia-style roast lamb, loads of tapas-style items sold by the piece, satisfying gazpacho and a nice rib-eye with roasted garlic butter.
