Portland’s hippest darling for ice cream, Salt & Straw, has a sibling shop in Hancock Park on Larchmont Boulevard. Ice creams are handmade with local cream from Rockview Farms using seasonal SoCal ingredients like sweet almonds from Kern county, peaches from Burkart Organic Farms, and Grand Poppy liqueur. Flavors change monthly, but “classic” flavors served yearlong include single-origin Amadeus Vanilla, Stumptown Coffee & Compartes Love Nuts, and Tomato Water and Ojai Olive Oil Sherbet.
