Sidecar Restaurant Review:
When P.J. Clarke’s got its well-documented facelift, backed by high-profile investors like Timothy Hutton, the owners decided to take over the upstairs storage rooms too. The result is Sidecar, a sort-of private club. Sort-of because only members may dine there, and the public must contact a manager to inquire about membership. This dining room goes beyond the downstairs burger menu with shell steak, scallops and lamb chops. The hearty American food is good enough, but the moody, beamed room is the real main course.
