While Hawaii’s Starbucks are about like any others worldwide, the oatcakes have a devoted following. Unassuming in appearance, decidedly lumpy, unattractive and a rather bluish gray, the oatcakes recipe is jealously guarded. People line up for them and travelers seek them out. Another item available only here is the Hawaii-themed Starbucks card. Buy one and then load it with a few bucks. If you’re just visiting, you'll have a special souvenir for yourself, or for those unlucky folks who didn't travel to Hawaii with you.
