Owned and baked for by the husband-wife team of Laurie Allman Weber and Reto Weber, the bakery also offers a surprising array of Swiss and other European imports, among them German-style sausages, butter, Swiss yogurts and condiments. You can also splurge on house-made gelati or pick up a raclette or fondue set. But you won’t want to leave without a baker’s dozen of their cookies, Swiss pastries, European tarts and tortes, and petits fours. It’s a hedonist’s treasure trove, and besides, every bakery item, except the smiley cookies and the doughnuts, is baked fresh on the premises.
