Thai Palace & Sushi Bar Restaurant Review:
After debuting in downtown Conyers, Thai Palace moved to a 100-plus-year-old Victorian home and expanded its service and offerings, adding sushi to the menu line-up. This storehouse of authentic, classic Thai cuisine offers a spot-on coconut-chicken soup, and a cup of it may precede entrées. If your taste buds crave something a bit off the beaten Thai track, check out the specials that might include mango with shrimp or duck with vegetables and a slightly spicy basil sauce, or soft-shell crabs (dinner). For dessert, check out the fresh mango, artfully sliced and arranged next to a mound of good sticky rice. There is a wine list, but it's not very interesting or comfortable with Thai food. Solution? Bring your own. The corkage fee is a skimpy $8 per bottle.
