Thai Pepper Restaurant Review:

Thai Pepper, situated in a tiny, old house in Upper Kirby, is one of the oldest Thai restaurants in Houston, founded in 1983 and still run by a family from Thailand. The interior is cozy and romantic and the food is truly authentic. In fact, it's one of the few places in town where you can get mee krob, a crunchy sweet-and-sour rice noodle dish, and spicy lime salads. Entrées can be ordered three ways: spicy hot, medium or mild. If you like heat, order the chef’s special Triple Spicy Fish with a trio of red chili sauce, Thai chili, and spices. We also recommend the chicken pad thai, and don’t pass up the fried bananas with homemade coconut ice cream. Parking is almost nonexistent and the bar only pours beer and wine; take-out is another option.
