Thai Yum Restaurant Review:

The handle "Ten-O-Six" never told much about this Federal Hill restaurant, except for its Charles Street address. Owner-chef Tom Chungsakoon fixed this with a name change to Thai Yum, and a refocused menu that jettisoned American and Asian-fusion dishes in favor of his native cuisine. Such authentic, exciting and attractively turned-out dishes as mussels with holy basil and lemon grass, duck breast with curry-roasted peanut sauce, and pan-seared salmon with avocado, green curry and broccoli might be expected to come with a high price tag, but Thai Yum’s prices are moderate, and servings are generous. The small dining room, decorated in earth tones and handsome textiles, looks better than ever, and several outside tables beckon in pleasant weather. Beer and wine are served.
