Tokoro Restaurant Review:

With its dated, kitschy looks and postings of all-you-can-eat sushi deals (about $20 per person, with a penalty of $10 for unfinished food) during the lunch hour, we immediately had our suspicions about Tokoro’s commitment to quality. But the sushi was better than we initially expected---hardly top-grade, but surely satisfying for a quick fix. There is also tempura, teriyaki and, as you might expect, an endless array of specialty rolls that do not rely on pristine ingredients for mass appeal. A Mexican roll involves shrimp, crab and avocado in a spicy sauce, while the Minky roll features salmon with onions and avocado, topped with albacore and mustard sauce.
