Tommy's Restaurant Review:

Hipsters, locals, kids and academics fuel up at this beloved Coventry Village eatery where the large menu features lots of well-prepared, healthy sandwiches and pita pies. Décor includes natural wood, plant life and local art, and the ever-youthful-looking Tommy, the restaurant's owner and namesake, is almost always in the thick of things. The restaurant offers wraps, vegetarian burgers, hand-cut fries, freshly made soups and even vegan desserts. There is also a Lebanese influence --- in other words, lots of hummus and pita. While the wait can be tedious, it pays off when you finally take a bite of that Ruth (a wonderfully quirky spinach pie with cheese, mushrooms, vegetables and barbecue sauce) or any other dish on offer. Don’t miss the hand-dipped milkshakes in flavors like mint chocolate chip, mocha and peach.
