It sounds like an oxymoron, but this Upper West Side chain somehow also manages to be cozy. And it’s very family-friendly, so feel free to bring the kids for the thick Chicago-style pizza served here. There’s also a line of flatbread pizzas, and some even come with a gluten-free crust. The Wowza chicken pizza comes with peppers, spicy chicken, cheddar, mozzarella and Uno's trademark Wowza sauce. The roasted eggplant with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, feta and pesto is also worth a taste. The salads are plentiful and freshly made. The seafood isn’t bad and includes dishes like Cajun blackened all-natural Norwegian salmon and baked haddock.
