Hartford's seafood lovers should look no farther for fish than this local family hangout. The kitchen does a lot with lobster --- steaming it, stuffing it, baking it with pasta shells and cheese, and serving it on a roll or in a bowl (as bisque), as well as using it for the savory pie that is a New England favorite. Of course, the place is known for chowder. But the specialty has got to be the giant Chowder Pot combo platters, which include a sampling of just about every type of regional seafood imaginable. Nautical décor may be a bit hokey, but you've got to love the theme as it manifests itself in the Shrimpwrecked Mary, a Bloody Mary with shrimp on the side.
