About the restaurant: Victoria Gastro Pub pays tribute to both the past and the future of that beloved institution, the British public house. From its brass taps to its gleaming woodwork, Victoria’s décor evokes the era of the eponymous queen --- comfortable, yet posh --- while its kitchen’s stylish contemporary offerings show pub grub’s culinary evolution.

Food & Drinks: Victoria’s entrée list is short (just seven items) and includes dressy iterations of pork, beef and pasta dishes, a crab cake, and for traditionalists, fish ‘n’ chips. However, there are plenty of small plates, salads and sandwiches to choose from as well; the lobster-and-Brie grilled cheese sandwich has its devotees, and the duck fat fries have become a signature item. Dessert choices include peanut butter-and-chocolate trifle and pineapple upside-down cake. The “pub” part of the bill of fare is as important as the “gastro,” with an extensive list of draft beers and a “Cork Club” for wine buffs. While this is definitely a family-friendly venue, complete with children’s menu, adult night owls can get their English on until 2 a.m. daily.
