Victoria’s Diner Restaurant Review:

This hash house has been dishing up square meals at fair prices since 1949. Breakfast is served all day, so order a Bloody Mary with grilled banana bread or a stack of fluffy pancakes to get you started. Near Newmarket Square, the city's meat-packing district, and across from the Boston Edison plant, the diner draws those seeking solid fare: steak tips, a baked meatloaf panino, chicken potpie, burgers, dogs and beans, and Friday's fried clams. There are some nice surprises, too, like chicken Milanese, boneless short ribs, osso buco and lemon butter broiled salmon. We like the triple-decker turkey club served with a side of golden french fries. Finish with a slice of blueberry pie or bourbon pecan pie.
