Vinito Tuscan Tavern Restaurant Review:

Locals tend to avoid International Drive, but Vinito is a good reason to venture out into Orlando’s tourist country. The spacious restaurant is located in the Tuscan-style brick central tower at busy Prime Outlets mall, but there is valet parking right at the front door so you don’t have to wander through the shops or hope for a parking spot. Vinito is a step above mall food, with authentic Italian fare coming out of the open kitchen. Chef Raffaele Marsilio hails from Somma Vesuviana, Italy, where he learned to cook with his mother and crafts dishes such as chicken Milanese, minestrone and a family recipe for spaghetti and red sauce. Vinito’s brick oven pizzas are popular, from a simple margherita or pepperoni to vegetarian with eggplant and arugula. Seafood fans can choose from pan-seared scallops, grilled Atlantic salmon and grouper in lemon wine sauce. The restaurant exclusively pours Mezzacorona wines from Italy’s Dolomites, with a range of reds, whites and sparkling choices, but a full bar offers plenty of options. If you’re not counting calories (or clothes shopping), splurge with cannoli dipped in chocolate.
