Named after the Zinfandel grape, Zin Bistro Americana offers a wide range of playful American-inspired food. Appetizers include lamb lollipops, lobster eggrolls and salmon poke, while entrées range from lobster and crab potpie and cioppino to rack of lamb and moules frites. Go for classic spaghetti and meatballs, or opt for scallops in a Zinfandel reduction. All of it will taste better with the beautiful lakeside view, especially if you're on the patio next to the fire pit. The inside bar, at which you can have dinner or just drinks, also has a view of the water. A long dessert menu runs the gamut from pecan pie to chocolate-peanut butter cheesecake to cotton candy. Servers are well trained.
