Located in what is considered Salt Lake City's little theater district, The Metropolitan's modern, minimalist décor may make you feel like you’re dining in a fine art museum. Sophisticated New American cuisine and a world-class wine list make the restaurant a favorite of both serious foodniks and oenophiles. The menu changes often, but usually offers fresh seafood, wild game, free-range meats and seasonal produce. Start with duck confit or foie gras. The impressive multi-course chef’s menu changes nightly. Monday is the new Friday night at Metro: Drop in Monday night if you're a "local" for complimentary corkage and a special menu parading three courses for $30, or five for $45.
