Michael Harris' coffee operation goes a step or two beyond just good coffees, which are available custom-roasted in bulk while you wait, and teas. He also does lovely sandwiches with inventive combinations on toasted herbed focaccia. The Black and White, for instance, is a layering of black olive pesto with shredded mozzarella cheese, fresh spinach and tomato. The delicious deli all-beef hot dog comes with a choice of chili, kraut, slaw and onions. Panini sandwiches are served with a choice of potato salad or pasta salad (get the former). Inexpensive breakfast dishes are available, and one can opt for a nourishing egg-filled pastry. The place is popular with locals for Sunday morning with the New York Times or Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Wireless internet is available.
