Midori Japanese Restaurant Restaurant Review:
The freshest of creations are churned out at this bright, casual North Side spot, where meals begin with pickled vegetables brought by kimono-clad servers. The menu holds all the Japanese standards: spicy shrimp salad, udon soup, teriyaki beef and sukiyaki. The Roberto special with shrimp tempura, snow crab and spicy sauce is a hit. Tatami rooms accommodate small groups, but they fill up early. Potentially problematic service can spoil the mood.
