Miyagi Restaurant Review:
Top-quality sushi and a tiny dining room mean large crowds. A minimalist décor of blond woods and Japanese prints is the backdrop for the almost all-sushi menu created by two knife-wielding chefs. Start with some non-sushi appetizers: The hot tofu and the beef negimaki are both good preambles to a blowout sushi meal. All the presentations are delicious, but the chirashi sushi is a particular favorite, as much for its ultra-fresh fish as for its artistic appeal. Finish with the green tea ice cream, smooth as a spring breeze and just as refreshing.
