THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Moe's Original Bar B Que Restaurant Review:
Andy Justin and Kyle McCarter own this unit of Moe's Original Bar B Que and they tend to the smoking and cooking, too; the team by and large executes very well. Fried pickles come with a side of Alabama white sauce, the distinguishing element that makes 'Bama 'cue unique. These slices remain crisp, a testament to the duo’s frying skills. A couple can easily share a combo plate, and we recommend the ribs (although the flavorful meat slides a little too easily off the bone) and the very good chicken (the white sauce was originally designed to go on the chicken, so dip away). We tried the Mississippi mud pie but found the presentation and the flavor (lacking the complexity of a typical layered tall slice) disappointing. Beer, wine and spirits all are available and include some fine options. Mondays bring smoked meatloaf and kids under 10 eat free. The space is bright and comfortable, especially attractive for families.
