Customers crowd in for novelty rolls like the tiger of crab mix, cucumber, avocado, coconut shrimp, sweet Thai chili and aïoli, plus salmon “cannoli” all the better with colorful cocktails, while finer appetites will appreciate izakaya bites such as the sear-it-yourself Angus beef strips dotted in miso butter; silky escolar dipped in hot mignonette broth; or the Sensei roll of lobster, avocado, Angus beef and shitake mushroom truffle oil.
