It could so easily have fallen into the club-kid scene, given its location right in the middle of the bar-and-dance-club zone called Power Plant Live! Yet Mondo Bondo is intent on elevating the culinary conversation a notch or two. Yes, some of the lighter fare is meant for clubbers, but even the cheesesteak sub is constructed of thinly sliced beef tenderloin. Add to this a sleek little wine list with almost every bottle under $20, the contemporary look of lime-green walls, a rustic tile floor and an open kitchen, and you have a crowd-pleaser for all ages.
