The Moose Preserve Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

This knotty pine haven is divided into two sections: one with a long bar, booths and tables, and the other with two pool tables, video games, four-tops and a smaller, chummier bar. Each side has several TVs, always set to some serious body-contact sporting event. As for the food, if it lives in the wild, it's probably on the menu, so expect emu, fish, elk, venison, duck, wild boar sausage and rabbit, all served with fresh vegetables. The kitchen also prepares grilled chicken sandwiches and half-pound burgers. Try the buffalo meatballs basted with Jack Daniel's barbecue sauce, and for fun, sample one of the house specialty cocktails like the “Bloody Moose” --- Absolut Peppar and Absolut Citron blended with the house mix, served in a celery salt-rimmed glass and garnished with a blue cheese-stuffed olive and slice of venison sausage. Or, tip back one of the 12 beers on tap or 24 beers by the bottle, both imported and local.
