This decades-old deli is not merely a New York-style temple to sliced meat and sandwiches. Mr. Broadway is a deli for all people, offering an encyclopedic menu of the usual assortment of sandwiches, as well as Mediterranean fare (falafel sandwiches, hummus platters), hearty soups (matzoh ball, chicken), salads, omelets, and even sushi. And they even have their own Chinese chef, who churns out decent standards like chicken with garlic sauce and crispy beef. Best of all, everything on the menu is kosher. The schnitzel on a platter is done just right: crispy and not too greasy on the outside, but moist on the inside; and the potato pancakes offer stick-to-your-ribs goodness.
