The Mule Restaurant Review:

A cheesy haven in the emerging Plaza District of Oklahoma City, The Mule does a lot of things right. The restaurant and bar boasts a limited selection of savory sandwiches packed with clever flavor combinations. You can savor the caprese, a classic composition highlighted with two types of pesto, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, opt for the “Macaroni Pony,” with chipotle barbecue pulled pork on toasted jalapeño cornbread. Portions are generous, certainly enough for two with the addition of an appetizer. The fried Watonga cheese curds offer a taste of Oklahoma, as does the selection of local beers. The cocktail menu features a number of the restaurant’s namesake drinks, including the classic Moscow Mule, made with vodka and ginger beer.
