THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Naked Fish Restaurant Review:
In this Yankee seaside town, who would have thought that Latin music and Cuban food would gain a stronghold? A South Shore outpost of the burgeoning seafood-Caribbean chain begun by Joey Crugnale. (He had made Bertuccis wildly popular.), like all of the Naked Fish, what you hear is a big part of what you get. Latin music leads to a Cuban-Caribbean menu heavy with seafood. Thee place is fun and infectious even if somewhat contrived. Go for the naked fish thats wood-grilled as its simplicity showcases some nice fillets that are simply brushed with oil and lemon then grilled over hardwood. We liked our naked mahi mahi better than the non-naked Chilean sea bass that was roasted with Mediterranean spices and briny olives. There is some meat including rack of Cuban style baby back ribs and most entrées come with two sides chosen from a long list of choices that bridge the islands and the mainland.
