Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao

Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao Restaurant Review:

Named after the region in China where xiao long bao, or soup dumplings, were first created, this legendary Flushing restaurant is perpetually packed with locals and other New Yorkers who trek out here from the four other boroughs to eat possibly the best soup dumplings in the city. The crab and pork variety offer a strong crabby broth. The fried version of xiao long bao are good as well, though they suffer from an exterior that’s too doughy. Stick with the main event --- the soup dumplings --- and wash it down with a Chinese beer and you can’t go wrong.
