![]() : Since time immemorial, small eateries located on the docks where fishermen unload their fresh catches have been an important part of culinary culture. Chef-proprietor Nico Chaize’s Nico's at Pier 38 is a modern-day incarnation of this humble tradition. Order at the counter, take a seat inside or out, and enjoy a view of fishing vessels pulling into the harbor. For breakfast, there’s fish 'n’ eggs and french toast. At lunch, try the catch of the day or a seared poke salad. The adjacent fish market offers your choice of fresh poke bowls or local snacks for take-out. As the sun goes down, the restaurant changes to table service and a lively pau hana crowd fills in at the bar, where both beer and wine are served on tap. |
