Noble Fin Restaurant Review

: Noble Fin in Peachtree Corners has a dimly lit atmosphere that’s romantic, but you may need a small flashlight to read the menu. Weathered hardwood flooring, simple wood tables unembellished except for a taper, some banquette seating and a large bar separating three dining spaces compose the setting. An open kitchen fronted by a hollowed-out canoe provides additional visual interest if you're eating in the back main dining room. Seafood is the menu's focus, although steaks also show a strong presence. A raw bar and small plates add to the options. We started with a well-composed crab cake set on a pool of house-made rémoulade. Pure crab forms this beauty, so it falls apart at the touch of a fork. Scallops, served on soft polenta, were skillfully cooked, and we enjoyed the fact that no extraneous flavors imposed themselves on the sweet shellfish. For dessert, try the sticky toffee pudding. Lunch converts the crab cake to a sandwich, among several offered, along with lunch-size portions of seafood and steak. The wine list has a variety of white wine choices to handle the seafood and plenty of reds from a variety of sources to manage the meats. Oyster lovers: go between 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday for Oyster Hour "A Buck a Shuck."
