Thanks to this Los Angeles food truck, the cute onomatopoeical phrase for gobbling food ("om nom nom") has become synonymous with banh mi. The Nom Nom Truck serves up these Vietnamese-inspired sandwiches on foot-long baguettes with the traditional accompaniments of pickled vegetables (carrots, cucumber, daikon), jalapeno and cilantro. Sandwich options include grilled pork, lemongrass chicken, and tofu, and these fillings can also be turned into tacos.
