Non Solo Panino Restaurant Review:
In front of a small plaza with palm trees and other tropical foliage, when the weather is mild, this is one of the most pleasant places to eat in Mexico City. In a casual setting with sidewalk tables, the waitstaff---mostly young and pretty from South America or Europe---serve Italian café fare to a trendy, bohemian crowd. There are a few pastas on the menu, and some crisp salads, but the house specialties are panini. Among the standouts are the Niçoise, which includes hard-boiled egg, anchovy and tuna; the Hindu, with curried chicken; and the Caprese, with mozzarella, tomato and cured ham. The food is satisfying and fresh, and Non Solo Panino is a good place to linger over that extra espresso or glass of wine in the afternoon or balmy evening.
