Nora Gray Restaurant Review

: Chef Emma Cardarelli creates seasonal Italian plates in this intimate Little Burgundy restaurant. Take a seat at the bar or in a cozy banquette and start the night with a well-made cocktail from barman Ryan Gray (ask for something with a bittersweet amaro) before ordering a bottle of natural or biodynamic wine from the carefully chosen list. Your server will have a suggestion for something exceptional to accompany your lamb sausage-stuffed zucchini flowers, half portion of handmade agnolotti with mascarpone and wild mushrooms, and charcoal-grilled pork chop with peach mostarda or pickled cherries. The menu changes regularly, but the meat and fish are always ethically sourced, vegetables are fresh and seasonal, and everything from the mortadella to the milk chocolate ravioli are made in-house. As the night progresses, the volume in the small room increases. Those looking for romance, however, will appreciate that you’ll have to lean in closer to your dinner guest to be heard.
