: Located in the heart of Boston's Italian North End neighborhood, North Street Grille is a standout for its American fare. The beautiful brick-front restaurant has oversize windows that look out onto bustling North Street. In the warmer months, request a seat on the patio for al fresco dining. Order a glass of sangría or a pomegranate martini to go with a short rib egg roll starter. Creamy crab soft tacos are made with Boursin, caramelized onions, avocado and chives. The comfort fare with a twist includes a short rib grilled cheese; truffled lobster mac ‘n’ cheese; and a Cobb burger topped with everything you would find on a Cobb salad --- avocado, egg, tomato, bacon and Gorgonzola. Since this is the North End there are some Italian specialties as well, like the veal saltimbocca appetizer, tagliatelle Bolognese dinner, and antipasti burger finished with fresh creamy mozzarella, basil and prosciutto. Weekend brunches are popular and can involve long waits for a table. |
