Number 3 Restaurant Review:
The clubhouse restaurant Number 3 is named after "The Big Three" golfers (Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player) who played the Mauna Kea Golf Course in a live televised match. (The third hole of the course is also world-famous for its dramatic coastal setting, but it should be made clear that this clubhouse restaurant is not located there.) Dishes on the menu include soups, sandwiches and salads like the “Mauna Kea” shrimp salad served in a Puna papaya. Draft beers and signature Mauna Kea cocktails are also available in addition to a full bar.
