Though the name doesn't reflect it, this restaurant---situated inside the Oakland Mall---serves both Middle Eastern and American fare, including burgers. But we'd recommend going with the Middle Eastern cuisine at this fun, friendly place. The menu lets us know “Kan Zaman” means family, friends, good times and good food. The broad selection of dishes includes favorites such as hummus, shish kebab, shwarma and lamb gyros. There are many vegetarian offerings as well.
